My f*ckin computer won't turn on. I'm resorting to my itouch for stuff on Internet. This is what happened, I put my baby in standby over night. Then in the middle of the night I hear a loud POP! Not sure if it was my head, something fell, or if it was that power box thingy in the computer. So now I can't turn on my computer, and if I get lucky the lights to my computer just flashes for A nano-sec. I have every thing plugged in. There were no power surges that I know of. I haven't gone in the inside in a while.so do I need to buy anything new? Also, I'm not messing w/anything inside! So can you guys help me out?!?
P.S. My fingers are sore from typing on my itouch lol

hmm yeah, or if you computer felt like overheating, then it probably did... happened to me once. The fan cpu fan wasnt booting at adequate speed and bang.... no more computer. Also this is unlikely but your computer may have been hit by a current surge, and poped a fuse inside the powerbox.

if you're computer's connected to a power board, try plug other things in to check that it's not that which is faulty, and if not, then it's most likely your PSU, like bioshocked mentioned. how long did it take you to type that on your touch?

It was probably a fuse popping; if sometimes you get a tiny bit of light, it probably means that the tips of the fuse touch together for a split second..
Do you have another computer? At least, one that turns on?
Also, do you plug your computer straight into a wall socket, or a surge protector? If you use a surge protector, do other things plugged in to it work?

Try this...unplug your tower..press the power button a few times, plug it back in...then try it.
We had someone inspecting our house a few weeks back, and my PC was still on when he checked the breaker box. It wouldn't turn on, fans would spin for a second, lights for a second, but after I did ^ it works.

Ontopic- If you have another computer in your house..try switching out the Power supply in them.
