Get the one with the highest resolution. If they're the same resolution, get the cheapest one. Resolution is the most important thing. Contract ratio and brightness and all that other crap doesn't matter.

BENQ E2400HD is beautiful in person, probably the best TN panel I've seen.

"Quality" is intangible and dependent on the person. I can't tell the picture difference between a $400 24" 1920x1080 monitor and another one that is $250. If by "quality" you mean reliability, in my experience, I still have a 800x600 monitor from 6 years ago. It's still working fine. Desktop monitors are hard to break.

If you're saying that quality is immeasurable, you're wrong. By quality, I don't mean reliability.

The T240 has HDMI ports, and ToC awesomeness, but at a premium. If you don't need HDMI, then stick with the 2433BW.

Mainly for watching HD movies 16:9 (Full HD @ 1920x1080)
For computing use and some movies 16:10 (1920x1200)
Cheapest ones are TN panel
while panels will looks better, but some can make you scream for mommy when you see their price tag.
