Hello. I have used the cheatengine speed hack on some programs, 2 flash games and 1 real game. Whenever I open them, they always use 90-99 of my cpu and I can not find a fix for this. Even after restarting the programs, and even after restarting the computer, it still acts like this.

Even though they are using 90-99 cpu, the programs work perfectly fine, the problem is just that they are using all my cpu... and I am very frustrated about this. Is this normal, and if not, is there a way to fix it? Thanks in advance.

You can't browsers already use alot of CPU so speed hacking it for flash games would make it use wayyy more cpu. Your computer probably cant handle it

I understand what you are trying to say, but I was not playing in a browser, and the cpu change is permanent on these games I have used the speedhack for.

My computer is not bad and I can run crysis on med-high with good fps, so it has nothing to do with my computer specs. My problem is that after I have used the speedhack on games, all these programs are now permanently using 90-99 of my cpu each time they are loaded, and they normally do not use more than 0-3 of my cpu.

If people still do not understand my problem, I'll give an example:

Let's say I'm opening a game that normally always uses 0-3 of my cpu. I use a speedhack for it and quit the game. Now all the times I play this game, it uses 90-99 of my cpu all the time, it wont go away.

Even if my computer could not handle a speedhack, which I have no idea why it wouldnt, I see no reason for it to do a permanent high-cpu change to the games I use the CE speedhack on. Rolling Eyes

It is exactly that, the CE speedhack makes my programs use 90-99 of my cpu, I even tried on a new another game, before it was using 0 cpu and after using speedhack it uses 90-99.

I have tried this. I think some people are misunderstanding my problem.

The problem is that after using CE's speedhack on some games, these games now permanently always use 90-99 cpu, even without using the speedhack next time I am starting the game.

Think of it like that the games I tried it on always uses 90-99 cpu now, because I used CE's speedhack. If I start the game without even using the speedhack, I still get the high cpu.

It seems like I'm the only one getting this problem... I hope I can find a solution. Thanks to everyone for replying, though the problem persists.

even after a reboot?

also, how much ram do you have ? Perhaps if you have 64MB ram the added memory of CE requires windows to start swapping memory more...
