Can some one suggest a good program that will split audio from a file
i want to be able to split the audio from a downloaded .FLV file (not convert the .flv into a mp3 file)
i can already convert .flv's into MP3's but the mp3 remains huge for a music file i want to be able to just keep the audio from the video so the file is not huge
suggestions appreciated

I'm fairly certain the problem with file size would be in the audio ripper. I would use a separate ripper and splitter, but let me try out a few freewares and edit this post.

Same, was just thinking he/she could save time with a one-click program. OP, I suggest you DO look into VirtualDub (if you haven't) and learn how to do things in it. It's quite a powerful program.
