a while back my computer had a virus, and it was the one that changes your desktop to a blue screen, with a yellow box in the middle saying spyware detected download antispyware immediately.

well i thought i got rid of it all since now i can change my desktop, but when i go to display properties the only things i can check are themes, appearance, and settings.

im wondering is there a way to get the other tabs back like desktop and screen saver? or is it cuz the virus is still in my com

You still seem to have the virus. If bootscanning doesn't work you should reinstall your computer.
