Right now I have a HP W2408 for over a year, and it is a little laggy when I play Command and Conquer 3. I have about $600.00 US dollars. Should I get a new monitor? What are some things a good gaming monitor should have?

It isnt your sreen that is causing lag
It is either your graphics card or your processor (Most likely the GPU)

1. Graphics Card
2. more memry cards

3. new pc all together

OP, it's probably your graphics card, but list the specs of your computer here if you want to know what to upgrade.

Yeah, with 600 bucks you can get a pretty damn good GPU

Or CPU/GPU combo, or maybe a GPU and new monitor if he wants a larger one.
