So that everytime you restore the virus/trojan is still there?
I just virus scanned and it found something in C:/System volume information/restore_blahblah bunch of numbers.
And I can't find the C:/System Volume folder either.
I'm heading to school.. i'll check back in about 5 hours.

Yes it's possible for a virus to get into system restore.
One possible scenario would be your computer is already infected, but you never noticed it. You installed a program like Windows Media Player and it automatically creates a restore point with the infected files.

Use malwarebytes. (www.malwarebytes.org)
Or use SpywareDoctor. (www.pctools.com)
They can eliminate it once you scan with them, and click fix checked.
And I thought it was C:\, not C:/.
