screensaver?

control panel -> power settings

display properties -> screensaver

Its not a screen saver, it logs off of the computer, returning me to the login screen

does it log you off or stay logged in but go to the login screen (switch user)? if that's the case it is a screensaver, but you can still check your power settings to change this...

Well it might be doing that because some type of crap was set.
I cant really help you but anything about that would be in:
Control Panel> Power Settings
That probably isn't a error or a virus since it logs of exactly every 10 minutes right?

i know that. go to your power settings in control panel and have a look, or just disable your screen saver.

There's an option for a screensaver to automatically log you out.
