my new comp specs are they sufficient?


E8400 duo core 3.0ghz
4gig of ram ddr2
NVIDIA 8800gts 512mb graphics card

mother board :Asus P5N-D Nvidia nForce 750i SLI Chipset w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, IEEE-1394, Dual PCI-E MB


320GB hard drive.

drive:Sony 20X Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive


vista ultimate. Is this good enoguh for some gaming and movie special effects and stuff?

That should be fine for a mid-range system. However, I would replace the board with one with an Intel chipset instead, nVidia ones tend to perform poorly and be expensive for the crap performance they give.
