Is it possible to combine like alot of desktops or something so it becomes like 1 big desktop or something...kinda like a super computer

and anyone know how to do it???

There'a a new personal supercomputer out (the Tesla!), but I don't think you'd be able to get the performance of a higher-end system with just two cpus.

Yes, it's theoretically possible, but it would be pointless, and it'd be more cost effective to just buy a new PC. It'd only really be worth it if you had a whole cluster of them.

It's to expensive to build to computers to one.

Just forget about it.
Also you wont gain anything, almost none atleast.

The problem isn't the os its the hardware.

Probebly any linux would work.

Google does this. They have bunch of (>10000 of course) cheap PCs in a network. Which makes it one big google cluster Smile

They don't got bad computers, they got alot of server but No they don't got many bad.

They would not gain on it because that would drain to much power.

Its cheaper to sell the crappy computer as parts and such to buy a new one.
