How do i take my computer off of Safe Mode in order to be able to do a System Restore?

OH and BTW what is safe mod Very Happy

I'm not sure.
I am having a problem with my computer and this guy told me to system restore, and i said i already tried that but it didn't work then he said take if off of safe mode and it should work...
So idunno

You have to be in safe mode to take it, safe mode is entered by pressing a hotkey upon startup (usually F Cool

and then selecting it

It's hard to "Accidently" get into

Well it's an old computer and was my dad's before it was mine and he might have fiddled with it. So can you tell me how to get out of it?

what he was trying to say was to remove the virus, if there even was one, take it off by going into safe mode and running system restore that way.
