Okay 2 Questions 1.Sometimes when i download like a 4 part Rar file i open the first part and there is nothing in there and the file says its 100mb big 2.Funny Question but some of the other times they include 20 other zipped files, and i obviously try to open part 1 but it is also empty Any help? _________________

Well you never said open and I believe they all need to be OPEN for it to work.

um no. if you don't have all the parts you should get an error (i'm pretty sure) and you don't need to have them all open to work. just extract one of them and winrar or w.e u're using will extract them all and join the file together.

Is that new because my winrar didn't do that to a 29 part rar file and I had to manually do everything.

that doesn't sound like an archive split into parts then. for example you might have a 4gb iso, and 40 parts each of approximately 100mb each. you extract one of them and winrar will extract them all to form the original iso.

Some people have had issues with multipart .rar archives when using winzip..

So, like u said.. USE WINRAR!
