| I don't know what happened but any game that has GameGuard won't let me play. I always get on for about a minute or so and then it detects a hacking tool, yet I have nothing else running except for the game. I don't notice any processes running that it might think was hacking either. Any help?

Well that is very weird, you might have a hacking tool or a "threat" running to the gameguard. I never experienced this problem before but it might be the game.
Is it just one game or multiple? And if you got the game from someone else then that must be the reason, try to get it from the official source if so. And if you tried to hack it, put anything that didn't come with the game in the folder then it will be detected like that.

| I got the games from their own sites. I've tried Maple Story and Grand Chase so I'm pretty sure its safe to say all GG games. I didn't mess with any of them and ran them after a clean install.

| This happens with punkbuster too, you just have a hacktool semi-loaded into your RAM, usually restarting your PC fixes the problem but other times you might have to scour your PC and delete all/some of your hacks.

| Did you try restarting yet? And if there is any hack you've used lately you could try deleting it to your recycle bin and you can always restore it later.

| I havent been using anything lately except for CE 5.4 for private servers. Rebooting didn't help either.

Okay here we go, I didnt realize you were playing on a private server lol, dont do it if you want to play main servers.
The problem your having is either because private servers modified your host file,to fix this you'll have to either open you host file and delete certain lines that have to do with maplestory or gameguard or delete it entirely, you can usually find it in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (make sure to go to properties and unmark read only and deletign it entirely does not matter, windows will make a new one)
If that doesn't work try this (from another post)
"Separate INIs:
If a private server made you download a separate INI or ANY other files for that matter. Make sure they are completely gone."

| I recently edited my hosts file and nothing with GG nor anything else related to this is in there, and the only thing I've downloaded from private servers are Maple Story clients.

| Is there a error number or no? if there isnt you may have to delete all your private server stuff before it will work. Also you should completely delete your host file if doing those doesnt work (if you want to keep your private server then there really isnt anything else to do unless there's an error number maybe)

| Wow, it's my antivirus. After closing all its processes, I can now play the game. Does anyone know how to fix this problem without having to uninstall or close them every time I want to play? I use McAfee >.>

Hey i looked into your problem a lil bit and there is a workaround but it's almost the same thing as turning off your antivirus. I found this in the shaiya forum
"If you have McAfee Antivirus installed and while playing Shaiya you are getting “Game Hack Found” error messages from GameGuard, you may have a conflict related to the McAfee Redirector service.
Please try this to see if it helps.
1. Click Start> Run.
2. Type in msconfig and press OK.
3. Click the Services Tab
4. Find the service labeled “McAfee Redirector Service”.
5. Uncheck this service, and hit OK.
6. Windows will ask you to restart your PC to confirm this.
7. Select yes, and restart your computer.
8. Attempt now to play Shaiya and see if you still get game hack found message.
If you don’t get the message, you’ve solved your issue; however, your McAfee security Center may not function completely as a result. To ensure your computer is fully protected, please re-enable the Redirector Service once you are done your Shaiya session."
Your antivirus still wont work right though until you turn it back on
