If i update my bios will it be enabled then?
Or is there anything i can do to enable it?

There really is no easy way to do it. A BIOS update MAY work... but you should update your bios anyway. Though i doubt it will help you OC.
What i suggest is look into hard-mod OCing

If it's prebuilt: overclocking is probably not a good idea. Not only will your warranty disappear but it's probably not built in a way for overclocking to be worth it.
Post your specs,.

You can use certain tools to overclock your system or to unlock your BIOS. Also you can get your motherboard model before it went OEM and go to its makers website and get the original BIOS that can be flashed and that will enable you to overclock.

Why the fuck you buy a prebuild PC?
Ontopic, get the bios at the motherboard site.
NOT on the prebuild site.
You will probebly get it working.

you could try this.
it would put you at 3Ghz, stock voltage should be stable enough

haha..
its not good when overclocking..
my friend overclocked his.. 2.5ghz procesoor into.. 2.8..
u know what happened/?
his sound is not working..
its just like ur forcing your computer to its near limitation..
anyway there is a motherboard and processor
that is made for OC'ing system...
and its over the counter..
and i know a good brand for it..

I overclocked my 2.4Ghz quad core upto 3.5Ghz
you know what happened?
I got free performance, and now my £100 CPU is running at £300+ CPU speeds.
aslong as you have good enough cooling, there's not much reason not to overclock.
If you "know a good brand for it" why not just put it in your post?

Your friend is an idiot and didn't lock the PCI bus to 33MHz, and could have fucked up a lot more than his sound.
@OP
Your only method of overclocking with an OEM board is the tape mod that someone else suggested, that will force your board to a higher FSB strap and should give you a decent stable OC.
