well im trying to install linux as my OS but i cant seem to find the iso file. im getting debian and i went to there download page and got the Debian-40r4a-amd64-netinst but wen i download it i cant find the iso file the files it gives me is .disk dist doc install install.amd isolinux pics pool tools then an auto fun file and some notepad stuf

can anyone with linux help me?

http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/4.0_r4a/i386/iso-cd/debian-40r4a-i386-CD-1.iso

is what you were looking for.

After that, burn it to a CD, and then turn off your pc after putting it in the drive.

Boot up, and choose to boot off CD, and then follow the On screen prompts.

You dont just burn it
You download MagicIso maker and you burn it with that
Else it will not work
