What im looking for in a mobo:
*SATA on the sides of the mobo (NOT facing upward)
*Stable (This will be on for as long as 20 days at a time)
*OCs well (i probably wont do it, if i do not that high...)
Current Build:
*CPU: Intel Q6600
*GPU: nVidia 8800GT
*Mobo: Intel DP35DP
*RAM: 2x 1gb (2gb) Crucial Ballistix
*HD: Seagate 160gb
*CD: LiteOn DVD/CD
*PSU: 650w Antec
*Case: Antec 900

It does not need more RAM. I did not ask for suggestions on RAM.

Most Asus ROG boards have right-angle SATA ports.

I like it. Also, i decided i DO NOT want 2 PCIe x16.
I am a tad jewish and like to keep the costs down

Since you got a P35 board, going with another P35 won't make sense.
The cheapest board I manage to find with right-angle SATA ports
and it's based on the P45 chipset.
As for right-angle sata ports, you cannot find one with a single PCIe x16.
It's either 1 PCIe x16/ SATA or 2PCIe x16/r-SATA
NO 1xPCIe x16/r-SATA
Benefit of 2 PCIe x16, if 1 slot fails you still have a spare.

When a hard drive is made as an external, the drive performance decreases because it's now managed by the controller on the external box.
For internal hdd it's goes around 56MB/s
Take that HDD and put through USB 2.0 your hdd dropped to around 23MB/s
Now put that HDD with eSATA and the speed should stay the same as the internal drive.
eSATA is External SATA.
