To get more rams all you need to do , is that you go to Store and tell them you want rams. But you need to find out if your computer is compatible with DD2, DD3, DD4 than when you know just choose 1GB, 2GB , 3GB , 4GB, etc. When you get just replace with your old ones and that it.

There are 2 labels for rams, one is by the "PC" specs. and the other by the frequency it runs on.
So for your ram which is a PC3200 the speed for that is 400MHz.
PC=DDR
PC2=DDR2
PC3=DDR3
e.g.
PC 3200= DDR 400MHz
PC2 6400=DDR2 800MHz
PC3 10666=DDR3 1333MHz
Buying ram is actually a lot more complex then just by looking at your ram frequency.

32bits supports 4GB, although your video card consumes a bit of it as well.
64bits supports 8(?), may be more / less depending on what system you're using.

32bit can address 4gb total, it's not only your video card that cuts into it, but that's probably where most of it goes. How your motherboard remaps the memory might also come into play. PAE can extend this up to 36 bits of addressing space.
Most 64bit processors are limited to 48bits, likely for die space savings among other things... and the fact that 64 bits is ridiculous.
