Heres the problem everytime i boot up my pc it starts up fine then it starts to load up windows xp and about 3 seconds into that it bsods, i cant even look at the bsod to see what the problem is cause it poofs to fast Sad

.
is there any way to disable automatic restart with out logging into windows?
i tried hitting F8 and it didnt show in the menu -.-.
if theres no way to do that any suggestions?
its not the memory,graphics card. both tested

The same thing happened to me last month and my friend's moms boss's friend last week, and now you.
Let me explain what happened..
Your hard drive was fried.
All your files are deleted.
Forever.
Not even the FBI can fix this.
You need to format and install windows again, sorry.
Tough beans.
Major bummer.
Big sigh.

if it was fried how would reformating it fix that....

Your hard drive is scrambled, the computer can't read the OS info, so it reboots.
If you were to slave it to another computer (which I tried) it won't register.
Even if you force it, it will say the drive is corrupted.
The electrical socket your computer was plugged into probably wasn't grounded, and a power surge just fried the thing.

run the XP disc and start the recovery console.
In the recovery console type in chkdsk /p and press enter.

Another way is to take that drive into another computer and run a scandisk before windows windows loads.

If scandisk does not run automatically, open up command prompt.
in command prompt, type in chkdsk (the letter of the drive you want to check) /f and press enter.

Cmd will say do you want to dismount? press N
CMD will say do you want to schedul a scandisk after a restart? press Y.

Restart and let windows scan your requested drive.

i tried the recovery consol and chkdsk /r nothing:( and i tried puttin it in my other comp, just made it restart constently -.-

k well i still get the problem but i loaded windows xp onto the 2n hard drive on that computer and i can access all the files on C:\ so its not fried...
i just cant boot from it with out it bsoding -.-

You know why hackers keep airport wands on their desks?
If the authorities knock on their door, they switch it on and wipe over all their computers.
This literally wipes the entire drive so that it's physical memory goes from 1's and 0's to just 0's.
Same thing happens when there's a power surge.
If a drive is all 0's and no 1's, that means there is NO DATA LEFT.

can you start in safe mode,
that would just mean a bad driver if you can,

otherwise maybe a virus is keeping you from booting,

when you put your drive into your friends pc did you make sure your drive was made the slave with the jumper on the slave pins,

to make sure you don't infect your friends pc in case you have a virus it would make sense to slave your drive to his when his and make sure he starts up in a limited user account,

then he can scan your drive safely without getting infected
