Cryoma

Step 1: turn on the computer.
Step 2: attempt to log in as your sister so you can read her chats with her boyfriend.
Step 3: fail at that.
Step 4: turn off the computer.
Step 5: turn on the computer.
Step 6: hammer the F8 button the whole time until you see boot options.
Step 7: choose safe mode.
Step 8: log in as "Administrator". There is no password by default. (if there is a password, skip to the bottom)
Step 8: start>control panel>user accounts
Step 9: open the settings for your sister's account
Step 10: remove her password.
Step 11: turn off the computer.
Step 12: turn on the computer.
Step 13: attempt to log in as your sister so you can read her chats with her boyfriend.
Step 14: win at that.

If there's a password for Administrator then wait till I rip a image of winbewt so you can download and burn it onto a CD and use that to hack past the shell and remove her password anyway.

this isn't exactly gonna go un-noticed though is it :/
anyone with an admin account can change someone elses password, doing it without them knowing would be a little harder but you could just keylog your own machine

If you have physical access to the computer, then do a cold boot attack. 10 minutes is all you need to create a new hidden account on the computer.

The method you choose is a major failure.
Go into safe mode enter the Administrator account.
Create a temp account, log into the temp account.
Add permission for yourself to read her stuffs (If she sets her account to private. Password don't do shit if the account isn't private)
When done, go back to administrator and delete the temp account.

As for putting a password for the admin account. Some can still get into it. The best way is to rename the "Administor" put a password, change its unique ID, then add fake one and also password protect it.

on one of the versions of windows Xp if you had a guest account you could log onto that and change everyones passwords. il check and see if that still works..

It's surprising how many people don't put a password on the administrator account, 95% of machines I've seen don't have one.

Cain and abel won't work as well as this. It will take a crap load of time dude. I just suggest if both of you guys use the computer, if you can, keylog it or something. There are other ways too, I think this way is pretty cool.
