according to www.portforward.com my cmd window should look like this:
but it actually looks like this:
the Autoconfigurationenabled is stopping me from seeing my name servers IP addys so i can't go any further
anyone done this on a VISTA machine before and know what i should do? _________________

Try disabling DHCP Server in your router settings (type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your browser). Then you should be able to manually assign static IP addresses. |
