Ok, i got hl 1 anthology (yaaay). Its awesome! No lag! But when i turn my flashlight on it lags. Why? Its no lag when i turn on flashlight in CS:S. Help.

more light equals lower fps.

Actually you may be emulating light on a different graphic. Basically try lowering the settings and if there is something like Light quality put that at low or medium.

i think HL1 is set to OpenGL as the standard gfx, switch it to D3D i think it is

Don't do this, it was OpenGL since day 1 and it is by far it's fastest rendering method.

D3D was introduced with Condition Zero.
