I would really recommend another PSU. It's a really crappy brand and it's extremely expensive.

Try at good brand like OCZ or Antec. The 850W versions only cost around $150.

You said your budget was raised to 2500ish so does that mean you can't pass the 3K barrier?

CPU cooler good but you can get something better like
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233003
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835207004
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835202007
or get TRUE from another site.
Mobo is okay but unless you are gonna crossfire, just get P45 mobo.
For RAM do you really need 8gigs of ram?
I wouldn't recommend that speaker but its okay.
The PSU is good but if your not crossfiring, then you can just get a 750w PSU.
Monitor is good but maybe you can get something cheaper.
For the HDD, get the 640gb one cause its more faster and beter gig/money.
The case is good.

http://secure.newegg.com/Shopping/ShoppingCart.aspx?Submit=view
this is what i came up with and you can change things around.
Also KLS85 the Antec Quattro 1000w is very unstable and its just a upped voltage of the 850w.
If you can to save money, change the psu to Antec Quattro 850w if your o=not crossfiring later that is or get the Corsair 1000w.

http://secure.newegg.com/Shopping/ShoppingCart.aspx?Submit=view
this if you are gonna crossfire later on.

Q6600=65nm, 1066FSB, 8MB L2 cache, 2.4GHz
Q9450=45nm, 1333FSB, 12MB L2 cache, 2.66GHz, SSE4, High-K

With a lower multiplier and higher stock FSB, of course it will be harder to get better results in overclocking. But your budget allows for an expensive processor like the Q9450, so I would go with it. You might want to take the Q9550, it'll probably do a bit better with overclocking (slightly higher multiplier).

You might want to wait for Nehalem, even if you aren't going to get it, the prices might go down on the other processors.

By playing with the bios I manage to overclock my cpu from its stock clock of 2.66GHz to 3.89GHz (on air cooling), but since I'm a complete noob in overclocking I didn't change any voltages.
If I knew, then I maybe able to pass 4GHz.
