I don't really know much about laptops. I was wondering what kinds of laptops are excellent to buy.

I need a laptop that:
Durable
No keyboard keys jam or falls off
Not slow( maybe 2-5min logging on to vista)
Price less than $1,500
Doesn't beep from time to time( Gets annoying)
Good battery life
Prefer dual cores
Average graphic card (Not a gaming computer)
A laptop that gets me through college.

Mac's are apparently good, but personally. I think there a fuck piece of shit. I vote HP, or get a nice Vista.

what programs and stuff are you using it for?
if it's just for college most students choose a mac cause they look nice Razz

you can put vista or XP on a mac too if you don't like the mac OS

i use a dell inspiron 1501 with vista basic and it works really good i have a pretty good battery life and it has over 100 gb of harddrive.

less than 1500 idk what price it was a gift they just told me around 600.

I need a laptop that doesn't freeze( or take a while to load)
when i try to open a program like Microsoft Office 2007 and
doesn't slow down with OS Windows Vista.
