We got a new monitor, but I have to share it with my dad. I'm tired of having to crawl under the desk and switch the cables from my computer to his. Is there a switch for a scsi (i think that's what the end is called -_-) cable to allow it to be connected to both computers, but depending on which way the switch is turned, it displays a certain computer?

Does your graphics card have dual monitor support?

Probably not, though I'm not sure. One of the computers is an old mac running OS9, and the other is a 2002ish windows running xp.

KVM Switch.
SCSI is for hard drives, not for monitor cables.

Well, I don't have any money, plus the other monitor won't fit on the desk with this one. My dad only uses his computer for a couple of hours a day, so a switch would really be better. It's just annoying to disconnect and reconnect. I've looked at some KVM switches, but I'm not sure what to get, because I'm not sure what kind of connection it is. It has a bunch of little prongs and two screws to hold it in place (sorry I'm so computer illiterate). It's the smaller of the two varieties of connections (I'm guessing because there's a bigger port under the smaller one it connects to)

VGA or DVI.
Left is VGA, right is DVI, although i think that DVI misses a few prongs on this picture.
