To use a nuclear weapon with such callous disregard for human life and having the very real potential of starting a domino effect of more nuclear attacks is unthinkable. Sadly there are people in this world and in our government that wouldn't think twice about doing something like that.

Now before you start flaming me, let's look at a little history. I used to be pretty naive about such matters. I don't think I am so much now. I'm just going to touch on a few things because I don't want to write a thesis on it here. I'm pretty sure everyone here knows how to google so I will even give some key words at the end to help in your research.

I'm sure there are many of you that know what a False Flag operation is. And if you don't then that is ok too. There is a wealth of information on the net about the subject. Basically, the definition is this:

"False flag" operations are operations carried out by a group or nation, either military or terrorist in nature, that are designed to falsely implicate another group or nation.

For you Star Wars fans out there, it is sort of like going to the Dark Side and doing something evil for a supposedly righteous cause.

The United States and many other countries have participated in False Flag operations throughout the years. False Flag operations are nothing but deceptions and lies and have caused untold devastation and loss of life throughout history. In the last 200 years, the loss of life can be counted in the 100's of thousands if not in the millions.

Three quick examples of a False Flag operation come to mind and are easily researched.

1. Operation Himmler and the Reichstag fire: Probably the most historically famous of these was "Operation Himmler," which Hitler used to justify the invasion of Poland.

From About dot com: "So that Germany did not officially seem the aggressor (which it was), Hitler needed an excuse for entering/attacking Poland. It was Heinrich Himmler who came up with the idea; thus the plan was code named Operation Himmler.

On the night of August 31, 1939, Nazis took an unknown prisoner from one of their concentration camps, dressed him in a Polish uniform, took him to the town of Gleiwitz (on the border of Poland and Germany), and then shot him. The staged scene with the dead prisoner dressed in a Polish uniform was supposed to appear as a Polish attack against a German radio station.

Hitler used the staged attack as the excuse to invade Poland."

Earlier in the decade, the Reichstag fire on February 27, 1933, was a false flag operation that was used by the Nazi's to propel Adolf Hitler to the position of dictator.

2. The USS Liberty - JUNE 8, 1967: The United States under President Lyndon Johnson and the Israeli Government conspired to attack and sink the USS liberty that was stationed in the Mediterranean See. The attack was supposed to go off with all hands lost and the blame be placed on Egypt. This would effectively bring the United States into the war and give the United States the reason to attack Egypt.

In this almost two hour attack, 34 seamen were dead and 174 were wounded. There were over 821 canon and rocket holes in the ship. Thousands of 50 caliber armor piercing bullets riddled her skin and there was a 40 x 40 foot torpedo hole in her side. The LIBERTY was the most heavily damaged ship in modern history including WWII. How anyone survived is a miracle in itself.

But not only did the ship not sink but they were able to piece together an antenna during the attack and broadcast that they were under heavy fire by Israeli forces. Because the ship and men would not lay down and die and the news of the attack was broadcast and heard worldwide, the plans for the United States to join the war were pretty much squashed and the spin makers got to work to cover it up.

Many people believe that the US would have used atomic weaponry against Egypt had the ship sunk with all hands.

3. Operation Northwoods: The 3nd False Flag operation that comes to mind was a plan that was thought out and was ready to implement until President John Kennedy stopped it.

From Wikipedia: "March 13, 1962

Operation Northwoods, or Northwoods, was a 1962 U.S false flag conspiracy US government plan to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba. One plan was to "develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington". The plan states, "The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the Western Hemisphere." Operation Northwoods was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and signed by the Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer, to the Secretary of Defense.

Several other proposals were listed, including the real or simulated actions against various U.S military and civilian targets. Operation Northwoods was part of the U.S. government's Operation Mongoose anti-Castro initiative. It was never officially accepted or executed."

Other schemes included complex deceptions that would give the impression the Cubans had shot down a civilian U.S. airliner or a Cuban MiG had attacked a U.S. ship.

Hmmmmm... I've always heard the government never throws a good plan away. I wonder why it sounds so familiar?

lol it seems like you lot think that they would use the biggest nuke they could! If they did do this they would limit the size.... or not even use one! They are plenty of bombs that could level the whole country with out resorting to H bombs....
