Well, i was hearing how you can overclock quad core to 3.5ghz on air cooling

I have a Dell Inspiron 530
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
3GB Memory


I want to overclock, any programs i can use?

And no, cant use BIOS as there is no function in there for me to configure the clock speed

You are hosed then if the BIOS is locked.

Have fun missing out on hundreds of dollars of free performance.

NF: no overclock = bios locked... as in special functions locked...

So, no you cannot do soft overclocking... You need to do hard(ware) overclocking.

Search around for (dangerous) mods.

Companies usually don't allow overclocking because it voids the warranty and costumers cry and stuff. If your BIOS is locked, that means they don't want you to over clock.
