OK!

You may laugh when you read this but...
I am trying to boot up a computer that is old as..

Right now as soon as it goes passed the turn on screen(where it shows heaps of numbers and that) my whole screen just goes black and nothing happens.

OK this computer is old shit! 32.0MB RAM, 19GB Hard drive.
It had Windows XP running on it. it was going fine until i kept resetting my PC(manually by pressing the restart button on it)

HOW DO I UNINSTALL WINDOWS XP?

now it wont boot up.

any ideas?

You cant fit Windows on 256MB Neutral. Get the installation disk and drop to the recovery console and type fixboot and/or fixmbr.

^^ Are you lying to us? or this could just be part of the problem... Windows XP needs atleast 64mb to run in shitty limited everything mode. I doubt you could even INSTALL xp with that amount of RAM... Try windows 98.

2) Install Linux.

You just reccomended Linux to someone who tried to install XP with 32MB of memory. I say stick to win2k, its almost as good as XP.

i had to lol at that. you have no idea what you're saying Laughing

and why not just get a new computer? that computer's not even going to be able to handle an every day task. you can pick up a decent/average computer for quite cheap nowadays.
