				| Well I've got a Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT 256MB right now and I'm buying a new computer with a ASUS EN8500GT Silent/HTP/512M and I'd like to know if it is any good. _________________

Unless he gets the 7900GT... then that would be better, and i think he should!

				| 7300GT Texture Fill Rate: 2.8 billion
 Max Memory Bandwidth: 10.7 GB
 DirectX: 9
 HDR: 64-bit

 8500GT
 Texture Fill Rate: 3.6 billion
 Max Memory Bandwidth: 12.8 GB
 DirectX: 10
 HDR: 128-bit

As you can see, there is no major difference between these 2..
However, if you jump to 7900GT:

 7900GT
 Texture Fill Rate: 10.8 billion
 Max Memory Bandwidth: 42.2 GB

				| Go to a radeon if you aren't aiming for that high of a performance but want to save money. _________________

				| Due to the limited RAM bus, you'll only see about 256MB of that RAM being used effectively. It's not much of an upgrade from the 8500GT, but you'll see a small percentage in speed increase (equivalent is around an 8600GT).
If you're not a heavy gamer, it'll be okay for most other uses.

I'm currently playing COD4 with the GeForce 7300GT and it's playing pretty fine so i guess that it'll play almost perfect with the radeon right?
