Can anyone explain what a IRP is and how its used, the only thing I know is that its a stream of data, or rather data can be passed along, I even downloaded Microsofts official explanation about IRP's and its still a bit confusing. thanks _________________

Essentially, It's a piece of information passed down the drivers and it contains info to let the drivers konw what to do. Stuff like the current stack, buffers, and other information. It's sort of like a kernel message. _________________
