C: is where you currently have Vista. The OS. Operating System= Vista. Install XP on that one.

Why would you buy a gaming laptop when you could have a gaming pc + a regular laptop for the same price? care to explain?

No not a better laptop, give me the specs of that laptop and I could easily beat it for under 1600 in a conventional pc.

Just remove all partititions. OS , recovery and mediadirect.
Then install XP and configure the system like YOU want it.
Perhaps leave a few GB and install linux on it later as dualboot with grub

It's stupid to have those other two, if he's just going to switch the format and install XP; they would just take up space...

its my suggest for ur OS's drive:
Windows XP : 10 GB (if ur not have much games to be installed inside)
Windows Vista : 20 GB (i have tried it by myself and i dont found any risk of it)
oh yeah,, if u want install single player game,, install on different partition (not in OS's drive)
notice!
every drive must free at least 30% of size
except OS's drive must free above 50% if u wont ur computer run slow
