Okay, well i want to rent out my webserver to people, the only problem, i have to get the files first, and put them on myself.
I was thinking of using CPanel or something similar, but that cost money...
Anyone have a way of doing this?
Linux Web Server.
No SSH.
No Telnet.

Been there, done that, didn´t work. I am not going to go into detail, but trust me, i CANNOT use FTP.

1.Install filezilla
2.Change default directory to the directory that you put your HTML files
3.Make accounts and passwords for users that is going to upload their HTML files.
4.Forward default FTP port which is 21 if you are using a router.
5.Try it out! open up a browser goto ftp://YOURDOMAIN or ftp://YOURIPADDRESS
EDIT:If it still didn't work try this ftp://your internal ip address
if you follow all these above, it you should have your FTP server up and running

Didn´t i just say trust me, FTP wont work?....
I talked to people who spend there whole day talking about FTP, and they said i would have to do 30 backflips on the moon to get this to work...
