I made my web site few months ago ( http://haxor5354.go.51.net/ ) it isn't as good as commercial websites. It written in HTML. now all I have to do is to setup a forum on it so visitors can leave comments about it.

Ill recommend Invison. I like the style of it.

1. Register
2. Login
3. when you logged in look after your login id somewhere at the top. Next to your log in id. you should be able to see "Admin CP" click on it.
4. Login with your ID and pass.
5. Make a new category and then new section/forums.


And for skins google it.

You need to add the files, set up MySQL database, sql user, other things..
Not to difficult.
Most things will instruct you on the install.

inconsistency... It is what i found...

Okay, well i checked the IP of your website and cross referenced it with your actually IP and they don´t match. Is this your own server?

Im hosting it on www.51.net right now. It a free FTP space. you can upload the HTML files that you have written then you can view it through HTTP. I could host it on my server if i want. Just have to setup apache and put all my HTML files into the "htdos" directory.

Can i suggest first installing Linux on that machine? The best one for a server is CentOS also

The Linux OS is reliable and generally much more secure than windows.
It requires less admin effort to make sure everything is bolted down and patched up with security updates and hotfixes for example.
Its also free, and a whole host of other things that people could argue about...

you usually should restart windows every day
you usually should restart linux every year
