Hey guys
I share my computer and I am an Administrator.
I know how to CHANGE another persons password a couple of ways but to only list a few.
1.net user
2.control panel>account>change password ....
The problem is I don't want to change the password.
I want to KNOW the password (not CHANGE).
I have considered Keylogger's but I am afraid to catch a virus and I also don't want to install any software.
I tried creating a Keylogger using Visual Basic with success but with with a few major Problems.
1.I can't use me.hide
2.You can see the window open
So can anyone tell me how to make my window hiddden unless i make a hotkey like ctrl+8+l to make it unhide.
Also
Is there another simple way like in command prompt or downloading software.

It may be possible with some software. I'll PM you, just to keep with forum regulations. The password is hashed in the SAM, and usually most software just crack it to remove the password, not actually recovering it.
Windows server machines use a strong NTLM hash, whereas a standard 'home' machine if you like won't be doing...not by default, so yeah it should be fairly simple.

Its more towards an entirely cracking/hacking side though that app.
For obtaining all sorts of stuff not all related to windows.

if the person lives in your house or something, you could try searching their room. most people who arent that computer savvy write their passwords down somewhere because they dont want to forget it. i personally will never in six billion years every forget my password, nor ever have to write it down unless i start to go senile when i am much older. also most people who write their passwords down usually keep it simple so that they wont have to spend much time typing it in. and they probably type slowely and even if they dont, you could set up a really good hidden camera up to watch the keyboard, then when they are typing it in you could slow down the video to see the individual keys they press. |
Who forgets a password? I mean, its the simplest thing to remember besides : Oh, I need to fap today...

Yah, but I think he just wants to know the password without changing it which would be pretty obvious to the user.
