This is my mom's old computer, she said she don't want to buy a new one, and she don't want to throw it out. So I told her to buy some RAM for it, because right now it only has 128MB of RAM. Here is her motherboard...

So here is my question, which type of RAM do I buy. I would be nice if you could post a like, because I have no idea about any RAM lower than DDR2.

Are you sure its PC 3200? Thats another problem, doesnt say that in the picture you posted

Also your motherboard has to support the pins, im pretty sure you cant go higher then 256..
correct me anyone if im wrong
You can take out your old ram (128) and see if it has a label of 3200 or w.e
P.S. - friend code for brawl? PM?

Sorry, can't go on wifi, my Wii still won't let me. It keeps saying it cannot find a connection.

My old RAM(128) is just SDRAM, and that is PC133. I have no idea what the PC speed of the DDR is. Now I have to look up my stupid motherboard manufactor and see it they have it there.

EDIT

Found it! It is DDR333 (PC2700). So would this be good?

EDIT AGAIN

Ok, I just looked over at this

2 DDR DIMM Sockets and 2 DIMM sockets support (can not be used simultaneously)

Two 184-pin 2.5V DDR SDRAM (DDR333) or

Two 168-pin 3.3V SDRAM (PC133/PC100)

Maximum: 2GB (DDR SDRAM or SDRAM)

So, that means I could one tpe at a time. That sucks, I don't know how to switch which RAM is beign used.

Good price for that type of RAM. I'd get two, but the system overall just isn't good for anything, best get a whole new system (or build one).

I'm assuming you know how to install/remove RAM, so just remove the SDR, and put in the DDR. It should be in different colors (I think the SDR is black, and the DDR is blue).

Just get 2x512 and be done with it, even 512 will suffice.

There's something known as compatibility -_-.

Also, I think Corsair's website has some sort of application that tells you what RAM you need.

Do not listen to this post.

But yeah, just get what you posted (x2) and take out the ram you already have.
