Why do people choose crappy companies?

Such as the following:

Quote:
Dell
MDG
HP
alien ware (its not bad, but its 3x expensive then what i can build)
and etc

Please give me a really good reason. Also why doesn't someone just jump in and make a good comapny. (example: good prices (price of pc + labor building and + $40 just for the company. Not Including Shipping and Handling...) that would be the best company ever!

Like someone said, not everyone can buy / build their own.

Also, I don't see why people hate Dell, I have mine and then one of my family computers are Dells and they are great~~

Dell and HP are pretty good. Dell is probably the best, though building your own is always the way to go if you have the means. Most people cannot, so buying one from these companies is the only option,a nd Dell and HP are probably the most viable options. Alienware is good..just really expensive.

Dell's are fairly decent as far as major OEM's go. But people generally choose crappy companies because they're cheaper, even though the product will likely fail much sooner and they'll lose more money in the long run.

Well, not everyone can build computers. And because people are so easily influenced by advertising, these companies that you have mentioned spend money on advertising, claiming that they have the best and so people who don't have a clue about computers buy them. However, if you check out people who actually have a clue, you'll see that we don't choose 'crappy companies'.

Can you give me some of the reason why you say it's crap?
Quote:

Dell
MDG
HP
alien ware (its not bad, but its 3x expensive then what i can build)
and etc

"and etc" which means all companies are crap. So what do you think is the best company out there?
