Are you trying to find the sound drivers?

Vista:Start>control panel> device manager> sound

XP: Start>control panel> system(performance and maintenence)>Hard Ware Tab> Device Manager>Sound

I prefer CPU-Z, run it, click mainboard, post a picture here. We'll get you sound drivers and any others you may need with that.
