Note: I posted this in General Programming too because I wasn't sure which forum section is correct. Please do not give me a warning, I am aware of posting in two forums, just not sure which one is right.
Currently working on v2.0:
-Tabbed browsing
-Bookmarks
-File, Edit, Tools Menu Bar
-New Window Browsing
-Changeable Home Pages
-A better look - with the help of someone(when I say his name, It gets filtered to cheatz0r)
I present to you IcyBrowse. I will be updating it as much as I can. Tell me what you think about it so far.
Refresh if you don't see attachment or download here:

You used the default web browser control, it's basically IE with an even smaller feature set.
Try actually writing something rather than just relying entirely on controls.
Also anybody that uses it will need the .NET framework.

Im trying to improve it. I'm working on making bookmarks now.
Also, FireFox, IE7, they get paid for what they are doing, and they have like tons of people working every day on the browser. Plus they are at version 7.
This is still the very first version.
And I think its inpossible to actually write a browser unless you know C++.

I haven't had time to download this yet, but is this a browser that you have to install? Because if the program just runs without installing, I might throw it onto my flash drive and put all of my bookmarks onto the browser and take my flash drive with me to my computer science class.

It itself doesn't need to be installed, but it does need the .NET framework on the other hand.

Agree with this post
Also the graphics aren't the best
I can make overlay images with text/pics to put on the command buttons if you like

yeah, i agree too.
if you need sound effects, i can do that (would be pretty bad if a DJ like me couldn't)
i like this, works way faster then IE7 for me.

I think it would be awesome with electric guitar sound effects, and original.
I could do that too!

I suggest using a better and more sophisticated programming language that supports cross platform capabilities.... Visual Basic (Im guessing this is what this is written in, everyone on this forum uses that language) Is small and not sophisticated in anyway.... C/C++/eC is the way to go.
