Think outside of the box, computers will soon be integrated into our brains, so you don't need a monitor or keyboard. |

Yes it does happen, its business type of stuff to make money, i bought this computer for about $600 a year ago and now you can get a better one for about $300...
Everything that comes out, you shouldnt dream of buying, just take what you need for your needs..
So if you just need a basic laptop to check emails, PPT, etc dont buy the one that can play games hardcore...
Its all in ones brain _________________

The laptop I currently have, I got because with the specs on it, it should be able to last at least 6 years, while still being able to run all the programs that I will need to run.
But technology's rapid growth is ridiculous now-a-days. I wouldn't be surprised if my laptop only lasted 3 years. |

But then again your going to feel outdated one about 1 year. Then be actually outdated in about 2. Even though you have a beast of a laptop. Or should I say portable monster computer.

im imagining projector monitors that don't need a suface to shine on. though i think i will become very difficult to make hardware change when the your desktop computers start to look like the apple air. |
Well, I think you would always need a surface to shine on. The best we have done I think is water and smoke. Maybe they can use air particles? That would be really cool, but annoying. Since if someone moves to much the screen would distort. But then again, they can perfect it. _________________

The computer industry is just like the fashion industry - a week after you buy best and latest of what it is you're buying and think you're 'in', something new comes out and you are immediately harassed and gawked at by people with more money than you.
Buy nothing more than what you're going to need. If you're looking for intense gaming, get (custom, premade, whatever) a computer with a great graphics card. If you're only going to use it for checking your emails and such, get yourself a decent laptop. Buying a Quad core 'extreme' with tri SLI 9600GT graphics cards and 8 GB RAM when you do little more than play world of warcraft is a complete waste of money. _________________
