|
|
I've had this problem for almost 1 year now. There is a white spot on the bottom right corner of my monitor (External), and I'm not sure if this is fixable or not. I want to fix this because I recently found out that you can use your computer monitor for your 360.

Probably a magnet.
Is there a speaker adjacent to the white spot? Or anything with a magnetic field?
EDIT: Nvmd. Magnets make it turn funny colors

It's probably just a dead/stuck pixel.
If it's dead, nothing you can do about it.
If it's just a stuck pixel, have you tried degauzing?

What kind of monitor do you have
Click the menu button on the front or SIDE of your monitor (depending on what monitor you have) and go to the option that says degauss.
It will reset the magnet in your monitor and HOPEFULLY fix the cum spot on your screen

ok is your monitor a flat screen or a big screen beacuase most lcd flat screens have been showing signs of white dots on them and some times they flicker and die out. its probably a crack or some liquid/chemical got trapped under there in manufacturing and traveled or a magnet got in contact with the screen is there a pinkish white around the dot if there is then someone put a magnet to the surface. my televison has some as well

LCD's aren't really bothered by magnets.

I've had this problem but with benq and it just was my whole monitor covered in white dots..
I phoned them and they said i would need to send it to em and they would take a look.
They just gave me a new one instead of repairing it..
No charge
