Cheat Engine

So. I just got my hands on this nice XBOX. It is practically brand spankin new.
Anyway. I want to mod this XBOX so I can run emulators on it.
Specifically MAME32, for Street Fighter fun.
Anyway. The reason I say this here is for a couple of reasons.

Do I need to buy a mod chip? I'm not up for spending money so...

Also, if anyway can link me to a reliable site. All the ones I've been to are... outdated and deserted...

YEs, You'll need a mod chip.

The best one is the evouliton 12 i think it's called...
nice and stable and wont fuck up your xbox for a looong time.

Hard drive is also useful to store games. Combine it with a mod chip, and you got yourself a pretty nice system.Just go rent or borrow games and copy it to the HD.

You can follow Daaamon and hardmod it, OR you can Softmod

I softmodded mine, you can get a modded dash, and from there you can run emulators.

I'm pretty sure you will need a mod chip.
My brother has one and he brung it over a few times, it was sweet.

There is a section for xbox soft modding.
You don't need to hardmod it to run an emulator.

(There really aren't too many differences between hard and soft modding.)

In the stickies, there is a tutorial called 'How to Softmod with Krayzie's Ndure Installer 1.1.1'

This is the method I used to softmod my xbox.

a mod chip will be necessary for it try finding a tut somewhere on Google but try to find a good one so you don't mess up on it. softmodding it would be the best way to go but for the old classics its not going to be hard. Wink
