Im having this small problem on my desktop >.>
Every Icon has this crappy backshadow thing which looks plain ugly....
heres what i mean:
No idea why its doing that, but in the past its been normal....
Any solution?

no o.o
this started after i installed Nero last week, all my icons got resetted....
so i uninstalled Nero and now this is the problem....
and yes i've done a system restore >.>

Try this
Googled and it came up after about 3 different searches.
Note: When he says system, he has his Control Panel in classic view, make sure to switch to that.

LOL shit. Sorry. I keep hitting 'edit' instead of 'quote' since I'm not quite used to the new buttons yet. I've been catching myself and re-editing but that time I switched tabs while it was putting the edit in and didn't notice.
On-topic: I have a theory about it..it's that way at work for me and I fixed it somehow, I'll see about making it like that on XP then fixing it. Let ya know in a while.

Usually, its the wallpaper. Wallpapers don't go well with .PNG. I suggest you make it into a .jpeg or .bmp. :3

I forgot how I resolved it, but have you tryed deleting all the icons?
