I've installed VMware, installed windows XP Home.

Everything is working

When i try to go to a website, it times out, but when i go to CMD and ping it, it works..

How can this be?

I've selected NAT as connection (bridges causes ip conflicts)

Did you try multiple websites? (maybe a stupid questoin :p)
Try using the bridge settings.. I don't use NAT and it still works for me.

I did nothing special, just followed the tutorial, and my internet configured itself. (used Windows XP pro SP2 Corporate)

and this attachment. it adds a licence to your windows.

//EDIT

cmd -> ipconfig -> my ip = 0.0.0.0

Had that aswell but I fixed it with a simple " ipconfig /renew "

if you install vmware tools you can drag/drop files into the other OS.
equally did you enable ethernet? did you set it up when you created the VM?

Read the topic before you post plox.

Try disabling the firewall on the host and see if that fixes it. If so, fix the firewall to allow the IP of the VM as trusted.
