DBVM is a virtual machine you can use to run windows in. It'll allow you to change things invisible to the program running inside the virtual machine (like windows and all the programs it runs)

and about 5.4 release, as long as I don't get major bugreports on the beta it'll be released very soon

no, it will work without it.
But then hooking the interrupt table will be visible to tools that look for it
