There are countless websites that compare AV, but most of them are completely useless. Kaspersky and Nod32 are seemlingly almost always among the highest performers.
I am currently using nod32, due to it's lower footprint than Kaspersky, and recommend you stay with it.

It scans your computer once you start it up, and never slows your computer speed on anything.

- Dr.Web
- Norton
- F-Prot
AVG is a mediocre anti-virus, and I would never recommend it, which includes the fact they didn't make their own engine, and bought it from another company.

Many people say Norton is just a program that messes up your computer.

Many people say Norton is just a program that messes up your computer. |
Earlier versions were pretty much just that, v2007 and v2008 are really good though.
Edit: I've already changed AVs for testing, ZoneAlarm ISS (The AV is a re-branded Kaspersky) and it's going good so far, including the Firewall/HIPS.
