avast! Is the best, end of story.
And yesh, it's avast! not a capital A.
I bought a S/N that has about 30 installs left on it so let me know if you want to activate a full home edition. |

you ask for my opinion on a good av and you correct me?

and if you keep mcafee updated, it is rather exceptional. _________________

I second HornyAZNBoy's opinion; KAV. It's simple, doesn't have faggy shit and never causes trouble. Service is good and the installer doesn't take up a lot of time. Also doesn't hog CPU nor does it slow your computer down (a lot) during scans.
Did I mention the service quality already? It's rather great. I had a problem with it the other day and they made an update especially for me. <3333
P.S. Price is about 30 dollars for 1 year (not sure). _________________

Mcafee does shit, it stood by and didn't do a thing when I got infected by a CD that was supposed to be educational. (in a way) |

so you physically installed a virus onto your computer?
I'm sorry it doesn't protect against that sort of stupidity, but most others it covers. _________________

The virus wasn't on the CD, it was on the server that the program connects to.
Basically the company was hacked and everyone got the virus.
Luckily it was a cheap computer and I just re-installed XP. |

well I've never suffered any data loss of any sort while I've used McAfee, no problems from my perspective, I just do an occasional scan to make sure nothing has gone arie. _________________
