| Are you using SATA or SCSI drives? You either need a driver, or the disk isn't connected right or is defective.

If it's SCSI then you'll need to find the controller card model and make a floppy with the drivers.

Well, how old is it exactly? What kinda CPU is in it etc. | well i dont know. Its atleast 15 years old. Its a lost cause i gave up.
NOW NEW SUBJECT. I have a dell with a craphics card and no onboard monitor plug. It wont show a picture. Can you help?

Could be many things keeping it from POSTing, if there's more than one stick of RAM, try to boot it with just one stick at a time and see what happens. Try a different PSU, or try a different video card if you have either of those available.

| ive tried to boot with 1 or both sticks of ram. This is the only card i have, and i duno what psu is.

| Im going to build one. I figured i could salvage a pc out of the 3 old ones i had. The only problem is the hard drive is to fucking small.

Hard Drives are pretty cheap. Boss got a 100GB one from a computer shop for around 20 USD.

| Used stuff like game consols and some pc parts is better then new. But id rather buy most of it new. I need to get a 200gb hd anyway. My pron req 50gb all on its own =3
