it can dl that fast i tried i got ms in 4 minutes tops even less going like 3 mpbs

I have cable too, and I've been through quite a few routers, never noticed a difference in dl and ul speed.

it's your isp that lets you go at higher speeds. different routers or modems won't make your internet speeds faster unless you uncap them.

sometimes, but if you have two good routers, one better than the other, that can both exceed speed limits of your download cap than there won't really be a difference. say if your download cap is 50kb/s. if the crappy router can still do this then it's not gonna be any worse than the better router unless you want to go at higher speeds and ask your isp to let you go at higher speeds by modifying the cap. the only difference they might make is connection issues and for wireless ones how far you can go and still get a good connection.
