its an Acer 22" 5ms 2500:1 C/R

got it for 229 also, it was from circuit city though, last one too Surprised


also i need some help, i cant get my resolution to be 1650x1050 when i play games from my xbox, using a vga cable i bought today... anybody help? its on 640x800 by default...

Laptop monitors are Active Matrix, when it is very clear. It is like a HDTV.

is it an xbox 360 or just a regular xbox? i don't know if you can actually display a HD resolution from an xbox, it would probably just stretch it up to the size you want.

its a 360, of course

and the video card doesnt have anything to do with it, its only the monitor, the vga cable goes from the 360 to the monitor.


(monitors native resolution is 1650x1050)

Oh. Sorry for that then. Never had an xbox.

Anyway, anything on the internet about what monitors the 360 support?

isn't there something in the settings somewhere which dictates you're running HD?

i don't have an xbox so i'm just taking shots in the dark here.

I highly doubt the 360 will support 1650x1050(not a standard res for tv's), but you should be able to set it to 720P anyway.
