I should look for one with the lowest ms... right?
ms = lag?

Keep in mind, it's a 22" LCD flat screen monitor. is 8ms a bad thing?

I don't want a screen that lags hella bad... so i need y'allz help!

there's a few things to look for in LCD's

16.2m panels = they use dithering to achieve it and it, might notice color banding, some colors might not be "true" versions of that specific color.
16.7m panels = win.

then contrast ratio, colors may look washed out. i have a 2000:1 and it's clear and vibrant.

response time, I have a 5ms and it's fine. you pretty much have to look for it to see it. it's not noticeable in games.

resolution, make sure your hardware can push whatever res your monitor is, run it out of native and it will get blurry.

mines 22inch, native is 1680x1050, 2ms response, 3000:1 contrast Very Happy

and LG too, and guess what! less than 300 bucks.

Make sure you get one that says Active Matrix, those are they good looking ones.
