Well, I was planning to buy Crysis. But something in my mind tells me not too, well will I still be able to play CoD4?

You're going to be able to play it, but on what settings? Don't expect to run on high quality.

Well maybe not as good as Crysis, but still good. Anyway, CoD4 does not support DirectX 10, so you may as well go with a high end DirectX 9 card. Besides anything less then a 8800 cannot run DX10 at playable frame rates were talking getting anything from 6-12fps.
So either get a 2900 from ATI or 8800 from NVIDIA, or go with a high end DirectX 9 card. That is if you didn't bought your card yet.

It comes with the Dell (unfortunatly it is Dell), but thank god the Video Card isn't on the list of parts that are custom made for the Dell computer.

Negative. Easily one of the better looking games cranked.
You will need to have a decent setup to be able to get constantly good fps in CoD4, even with most settings down.
8800gt will for sure have no problem, there's a few $200 deals floating around; it's as good as you can get for the buck. |

Wrong on that, I can run crysis on my dual 8600 gts' and it runs great.

Hahaha. You are probably running on DirectX9, try to run that game on DirectX 10 with high quality/very high, then come back and tell me that I'm wrong. Actually good luck playing on medium settings.
